Vintage Weddings

Are you planning a Vintage inspired wedding? We hope we can help with some little ideas and DIY tips to make your day special!

VINTAGE JARS
Jars can be used not just for on the tables of your wedding reception, but can be used for many other things! Why not put them on the signing or welcome table, around the cake table, or hang them from a tree if you’re having an outdoor garden ceremony or reception. Hanging jars with tealight candles can create a beautiful ambience, and you’ll be surprised how much the guests will be wowed with the beautiful vintage wonderland you’ve created.

You can make your own DIY jars from home jam or sauce jars. Just add lovely embellishments such as lace, hessian, fabric and ribbon to decorate.

BLACKBOARD SIGN POSTS
What a great DIY idea to create your own blackboard sign posts. You just need some strong timber pieces, blackboard paint which can be purchased from Bunnings, and you’re on your way! They add a really nice personal touch to a vintage or rustic wedding design.

VINTAGE LOLLY BUFFET
Are you thinking of having a lovely vintage lolly buffet? What a great idea – and a bit of fun for your guests. Great for indoor or outdoor weddings and receptions. By adding a lovely old dresser or French provincial table as the table for your buffet really adds to that vintage feel.

HANGING VINTAGE JARS

Use some left over sauce or jam jars from home, decorate with embellishments, flowers, or some lace, then hang from a tree, gazebo or somewhere at different heights to create a beautiful arrangement of vintage jars. You can also add tealight candles to the jars if hanging outside of an evening to create some romantic ambience.
